Neil MacNaughton – 50 Year Summary
1966-71: UNB – Degree in Surveying Engineering
Dec 1969: Married Margaret McAnespy of Portage Vale NB.
1971-72: Worked for Province of NB in Fredericton, Surveys Branch of DNR
1973-79: Worked for the Council of Maritime Premiers, Land Registration & Information Service in Summerside PEI (1973-75) and in Fredericton NB (1975-79).
1979-2008: Worked for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador as the Director of Surveys and Mapping, – living in the St. John’s area.
2009-2013: Retired and living in the St. John’s area.
2013-Present: Moved to Bradford Ontario, to be close to our son Bruce who has 2 little ones, (the youngest grandkids – ages 2 & 3), and an easier location to travel to Denmark to visit our daughter Mary and her family. We usually travel by car to see our son Bob and his family in Hampton NB. Marg and I have three children and five grandchildren.
Recent Years – have been busy with helping Bruce with his house renevations, Marg & I are volunteers with Victim Services in Simcoe County, we enjoy a wonderful Presbyterian church family, where I am an Elder. I spend a lot of time with my computer hobby doing websites, and web mapping (check out my facebook page @DynamicMapping).
2019 December 27th – Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with all children and grandchildren. We were so glad to have the celebration before COVID. -photo below
