50 Year Summary
1966-1967: Fredericton Business College, Secretarial Course
1967-1972: Worked for the law firm of Appleby & McKenna
1970: Married Gerald Bavis and in 1972 built our current home in Taymouth
1977-1979: Worked part time for Maritime Law Book
1983-1984: Part time librarian for Nashwaak Valley Schools
1988-2001: Worked full time for Maritime Law Book
We have three children, Krista, Jennifer, and Gregory. All are married and live in the Fredericton area.
We have five grandchildren – Nathan, Kara, Jacob, Allyson and Matthew – ranging in age from 16 to 5!
I spent a number of years as a stay-at-home mother and also caregiver for my aging parents, very rewarding years in both cases.
I retired in 2001, am enjoying retirement, especially our grandchildren.
I love quilting, knitting, reading, walking, doing volunteer projects and travelling!
