50 Year Summary
After Graduation I enrolled in UNB for Electrical Engineering but dropped out in second year as there were no job prospects in the near / far future. Spent 1 year as janitor in Govt. building so as to qualify for 12 month stint in Trade School for Electronics Repair. Worked 1 year as TV repairman. Got recruited by NB Tel as Central Office Equipment Installer where I worked many places in NB for some years. Passed internal aptitude test and was trained as a computer programmer where I spent the rest of my career developing / supporting their business office software. During the latter years I worked for spin off company Xwave (same exact job, different company due to Bell Aliant shuffle)
I took early retirement to support Family. I met my wife in trade school and we had 2 children. We were not aware that my wife had recessive gene for Muscular Dystrophy but both children were born with it and my wife developed it late in life. My wife and daughter have passed on and my son was recently accepted into a nursing home.
Recently, I have decided to take some “me time” , but look forward to the reunion
